USING ALL FIT THERMOPLASTIC SPLINT
ALL FIT THERMOPLASTIC SPLINT is an extremely easy-to-use fracture recovery aid. Absolutely no water is required and the fixing time is minimal in comparison with the conventional methods of healing fractures. The thermoplastic splint also is an essential part of radiotherapy position masks.
Operation instructions
> Step 1
Pre-heat the water tank and get hot water ready. ( temperature is between 65-75℃)
> Step2
Check out the shape and size of the injury.
> Step3
Select the required shape and size of the board that suits the injured/hurt area.
>step4
Drop the thermoplastic splint into hot water and heat it until it becomes transparent and flexible.
> Step5
Cut the board to suit the injured area if required.
> Step6
Roll on the cotton liner/sleeve on the injured area.
> Step7
Place the heated board - that is already soft and transparent - on the cotton liner and pack it properly to cover the injured area.
> Step8
Once this is done, quickly wrap the bandage around the board to secure the board firmly in place. The board automatically forms the shape of the injured area.
>Step9
Remove the bandage after 2-3 minutes and fix the two ends and the middle point of the splint using a multi-buckle string. The process is complete once the multi-buckle string is in place.
Adjusting/Removing ALL FIT THERMOPLASTIC SPLINT
ALL FIT THERMOPLASTIC SPLINT can be adjusted at any time during the recovery process if the patient experiences any discomfort or the packing gets loose. Open the multi-buckle strings, slide and remove the brace, and re-fix it again. The shape of the brace is not disturbed because of the shape memorable ability of ALL FIT THERMOPLASTIC SPLINT.
Things to remember
Never force the pack and try to get a formation by power, always use heat.
If you get the pack wet, dry the pack as soon as possible.
